Wildlife on the Eyre highway

We slowed down twice to admire the wildlife. Once a big emu dashes across the road and a second time we admired two HUGE wedge tailed eagles feeding on the carcass of a kangaroo. Majestic and huge!!! They looked back at us for a few seconds and flew off before we could take a photo. Wedge tailed eagles have been known to have a wing span of over 2m! Apart from the two encounters, we saw alot of carcasses of roadklls. Kangaroos mostly, a dog, a cat and perhaps a possum (hard to tell) - felt sad. Said a prayer for them.
