Nullabor Road house- of whales, crows and magpies

Arannatee took these photos. We stopped for fuel at the nullabor roadhouse. A friendly magpie took a fancy to Arannatee and Arannila. The called out in their attempt at mimicking the magpie's voice. It worked. An instant bond! The magpie responded and got closer to them. They fed it bread crumbs (lots of that in the car). Soon a flock of crows joined in. Large crows with 0.75m wingspan. There was a mock whale at the road house. Too bad it not whale watching season.
